He's a Sucker!

Sorry about being delinquent in our blog updates, but we have been very busy lately. Kai has been doing so well and progressing so quickly that we have exciting news to share. As of December 11th, Kai officially began eating all of his meals through a bottle! The doctors told us he would be needing his tube for at least 1-2 years, so this is a pretty miraculous feat after only 3 short weeks (when the feeding tube was placed). After some intensive work with a swallowing expert, a swallow evaluation (by x-ray), the right bottle nipple, milk temperature and tenacious parents- Kai began using the bottle regularly.
