Grandma- 5k
On March 18th Kai participated in his first 5k race. Grandma bravely faced the fierce coastal wind for 3 miles while pushing Kai and carrying Maddie (the dog) in a pouch. Auntie Erin and Auntie Monster also came to run the race. Auntie Erin got 3rd place in her age group! It was Auntie Monster's first race and she beat her goal!

you know i feel like i need to give everyone the full story since you're making it sound great when you just say i came in third in my age group. you should also mention that the 20-29 age group = the painfully slow age group. AND that miss stephanie came in ahead of me but she happens to be in the much faster 30-39 age group (even the 40-49 year olds were faster than the 20-29 year olds!) i think i need to run a bunch more races before the end of april so i can capitalize on being under 30. :)
