Kai Update 2/19/2006

Kai's hernia surgery went very well. He woke up a few hours after and was ready to go home. Fortunately he slept the whole way! Now he has a little scar, but a lot less discomfort. He continues to not sleep well at night, but is eating well. He currently weighs about 10.5 pounds and is almost out of his 0-3 month clothes.

On Friday, Feb. 10th Kai received a special blessing, just for him, from a Tibetan Monk. The Monk gave him a small Buddhist medallion to wear, that was also blessed. It was amazing to be in the presence of someone so at peace with life- I'm certain we could all learn something from him.
